What’s on

September 2020

Sunday 13th September 2020

Morning Service: 11am (via Zoom) Rev Phil Steed

Today is the last in our series on Jesus’ Prayer in John 17

Readings: John 17:20-26 and 2 Corinthians 4:4-5:1

Sermon: “With Him in Glory”

  1. Look at the One who is praying

       2. Look at what He says about us

             i) We are those given to Jesus by His Father

ii) We are the special focus of God’s interest and concern

iii) We are those who know that God sent Jesus

3 Look at what He prays for

we have seen already Him asking that…

we be kept from the evil one

             we be sanctified

we would be united in the truth

            And now this! V24

What is the future that waits for us?

          To be where He is

        Doing what? Beholding His glory

Am I living as one heading to heaven?

        Col 3:1 and 2 Cor 4:17-18
